Marlboro Black 100s

December 17, 2012

Today I will be doing my first review. I chose a pack that I was familiar with but never smoked so this will be new. I will be reviewing Marlboro’s Marlboro Black 100’s. I’m quite familiar with the menthol variety of the black series.  I really enjoy the packaging of this pack. The art of it is very simple yet bold. As you will see in the picture posted with it, it features a mostly white pack with a red pin stripe separating it from the black. Over all packaging wise, its probably my second favorite style. I give it a 9 of 10 Joes.  It opens just like any other run of the mill pack and has the standard Marlboro ribbon on the foil. I am a fan of 100’s because I like to take my time when smoking.  I’m lighting my first of the pack. It lights easily and draws very smoothly for a full flavor. I’ll give it a 7 of 10 joes on draw.  The aroma is very subtle and not over powering as opposed to other full flavors. I give it a 8 of 10 joes in aroma. I really like this one. I am a heavy smoker and about 3/5s into my first one; I am getting a slight rush. It will score 10 joes one nicotine content. It burns rather clean and slowly.  I like this this pack and will give it an overall score of 9 of 10 joes. Will I finish this pack? Yes. Will I buy it again? Probably not because I am usually a menthol smoker. I hope you enjoyed this review and I’ll be sure to keep you guys up on all of my smoking ventures in the future.
